Jeffrey Erickson,
President & CIO
Jeffrey founded Erickson Capital Management (ECM) in 2006. He is
responsible for all of the activities of the firm and specifically
oversees the fund of funds and bespoke investments. Prior to starting
ECM, Jeffrey was Head of Alternative Investments at Mirabaud & Cie.,
a private bank based in Geneva,
Switzerland.
Over his six year tenure he created numerous in-house funds of funds, as
well as expanding the global hedge fund portfolio fourfold to well over
USD 4 billion.
In addition to the proprietary funds, Jeffrey also
served on the boards and investment committees of several of the world's
largest and most prestigious funds including Haussmann Holdings. From
1995 to 1999, Jeffrey was Associate Director for UBS Warburg
Institutional Advisory Department. In this position, he assisted many of Switzerland's
largest corporations and pension funds in the development and
implementation of their global investment strategies.
In the preceding period from 1994-1995, Jeffrey was
Vice-President with Norfinance Gestion, an independent Swiss portfolio
management group. His role consisted of advising clients on global asset
allocation and specifically for investments in the US and
Asian markets. He also developed lead efforts in developing both
traditional and alternative funds. From 1992-1993, Jeffrey was
Vice-President and Director of Marketing and Development of Comfitrade, a
commodities and financial futures advisor. From 1989-1991, Jeffrey was a
Financial Consultant for Merrill Lynch International. During this period
he specialized in global derivative trading and alternative investments.
Jeffrey began his financial career in 1987 with Nomura Securities. At
Nomura he specialized in pan-Asian markets and derivatives. He holds a
B.A. in Psychology from the University
of Nevada, Las
Vegas; an M.A. in International Relations and Management as
well as an MBA from Webster University in Geneva.
